SAUTE THE MUSHROOMS

Add the mushrooms in the butter and stir.




Cook the patties

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 WORTHINGTON® STEAKLETâ„¢ patties

  • 1 cup mushroom gravy (vegetarian)

  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms

  • 1 tbsp butter, margarine or oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter, margarine or oil over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and cook until tender.

  2. Add the WORTHINGTON® STEAKLET™ patties to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.

  3. Pour the mushroom gravy over the patties and let simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with mashed potatoes and green beans or your favorite greens.
