About the Presenter: Dr. David Emerson has been practicing internal medicine for 35 years. He and his wife, Oleta, who is an RN have worked in the States and internationally specializing in lifestyle approaches to illness. In 2002, they opened an Internal Medicine practice in Ardmore, Oklahoma with an outpatient NEWSTART Lifestyle program. In 2009 he became the Medical Director for Eden Valley Lifestyle Center in Loveland, Colorado, where they worked with many cancer patients. Following this, they set up an internal medicine practice in Myersville Maryland where they currently treat lifestyle related illnesses and give cancer support to complement a patient’s current program. In addition, Dr. Emerson works closely with Hartland Institute in Virginia in their lifestyle and Cancer support program, providing consultation and lifestyle education. Both Dr. & Mrs. Emerson have an incredible passion for educating and helping people to attain and maintain health using lifestyle interventions.
